What makes EE different than other sunglasses?

What is blue-light?
Advanced studies show that, along with UVA and UVB, blue-light rays can damage the retina and hasten aging of the eye. How was the Eagle EyesV lens technology developed?
The origin of Eagle Eyes® began with initial research conducted at NASA. Here, scientists studied the effects of solar radiation on the human eye. What they discovered was that eagles and other birds of prey have special oil droplets contained within their eyes, selectively filtering out harmful light; while allowing in other lightrays which is the reason these remarkable birds can distinquish small prey - even from miles away. This same selective-filtering capability is now found in Eagle Eyes® TriLenium-Gold™ lens technology.
