Lens Technology

Trilenium® and Night-Lite® Lens Technologies

For the Systems sunglasses, It started with cutting-edge polarized technology that NASA created to protect their astronauts’ eyes while living and working in space. Today, this same technology is the foundation of our Trilenium® polarized sunglasses. Trilenium® lens technology is designed to block blue light and 99.9% of harmful solar radiation, while expanding your vision.

The Systems night vision glasses with Night-Lite® technology are designed to filter out high-intensity glare and soften harsh lights from oncoming cars, streetlights and billboards, while enhancing clarity and definition at night. This helps to improve your ability to detect and distinguish objects and fight temporary night blindness and eyestrain while driving after dark.

2 in One Fit-On

I love my night-driving glasses!
It's been years since I could drive at night!
I can't get the daylight sunglasses to stay on my glasses.
It would be nice to have the "legs" that fit over my ears for both sets of glasses.
I'm glad my night-driving glasses are made with those legs!

Too heavy

Pros:
Night-Lite system does work great as promised.
Extra pieces on side of glasses are great for extra protection.
Great for work environment (see previous point).

Cons:
Not lightweight.
Adding the clip on for day time makes them heavy enough to give you a mark on your nose and don't want to wear them after a brief time using them.

Bottom line:
Eagle eyes system is great, is my first time trying the Night-Lite technology and is as great as the daytime lenses. Will highly recommend any lenses with this tech for night drivers.

However, I have to admit that the "lightweight" part of the description, fades away as soon as you add the daytime piece, they get incredibly heavy, my nose started to hurt not to far from the 30 min mark and got the "glasses nose mark" too, not to mention that I am tough skin, I know people who will get irritated noses pretty quick on a hard sun weather, if you are like that, this system is not for you.

Why 2 star?
The protection you get on the extra side pieces and the night use you could give to this glasses is great, but not being able to use them on daytime as advertised is a great draw back, the advantage the system could give is actually not there, preferable to buy separate lenses.
